Downes Construction Company was hired by the Town of Bethel to build a new 24,000 sf police facility. Once complete, the modern law enforcement facility will include six holding cells, records storage, detective bureau, evidence processing, men and women’s locker rooms and a dispatch center along with a training classroom that will have public accessibility. Additionally, the new police station will have two overhead door openings, one for a sallyport and one for vehicle processing.
