The new Bradley International Airport Parking Facility was a Design-Build project of a 3,500 space, five-story open parking structure. The first phase of the project, 1,750 spaces, was completed by May 1, 2001, and the second phase with an equal number of parking spaces was completed August 31, 2001, seven months ahead of the original schedule.
An external pedestrian walkway connected to two pedestrian bridges and provides convenient access to the Bradley terminals. The offices for the airport parking authority (2,500 sf) were constructed in an adjacent, single story building.
