Downes was selected as the Construction Manager for the renovations to the existing 66,000 sf school building and 17,000 sf additions at Waddell Elementary School to create four additional classrooms, small group, special education, art, music, band, orchestra, pupil services and an expansion to the cafeteria. The renovations included selective demolition, exterior envelope improvements, all new interior partitions, finishes, and MEP/FP systems.
